What are your prices?

Armidale Tourist Park has set prices for peak and off-peak rates giving you pricing transparency all year round. Check out our price list here.

What time is Armidale Tourist Park reception open?

Reception is open from 9.00am until 5pm Mon – Sun. Please call 02 6772 6470 to speak to our office during these hours.

What time is Check-in/out?

Check in is 2pm. Check out is before 10am

What time are the recreational facilities open?

The Recreation room is open from 10am until 9pm. Please see reception during office hours to rent equipment.

What time is the Fitness Centre open, and is there a cost?

Fitness Centre: Fitness Centre is open from 10am until 9pm; however 24 access can be arranged. The Fitness Centre is open to Armidale Tourist Park guests only. Please see reception to organise a security card, a key deposit of $20 is required.

Is the pool heated?
The swimming pool is not heated. The swimming pool is open until 8pm.

What is cooking facilities are provided in the cabins?
Cooking facilities (Pots, pans, cutlery, stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge) are provided in each cabin.

Does the park have WIFI?
Armidale Tourist Park is connected to the NBN and offers high speed WIFI at competitive rates. Internet time can be purchased at reception, or online using your credit card.

If I depart early can I get a refund?

No refunds will be given for early departures.

Can I bring my pet to Armidale Tourist Park?

Pets are welcome on our campgrounds and in our dedicated ‘Pet-Friendly’ accommodation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, vaccinated and treated for fleas, and owners must clean up after their pets. A minimum fine of $150 is given to owners that ignore these policies.

Can I smoke in the cabins?
All cabins and common areas are strictly no- smoking areas. Smoking in any room will attract a minimum fee of $150 (excess fees apply if cabins require excess cleaning).

Is there free onsite parking?
A parking spot is allocated for each cabin. If you have more than 1 vehicle, or an oversized vehicle, please see reception to make arrangements. Please observe the 8kmp speed limit. We request that all roadways around the park are kept clear of parked vehicles and trailers.

Do the cabins have air-conditioning and heating?
All cabins are equipped with reverse cycle air-conditioners for cooling and heating. The controls are located on the wall. The air-conditioners run most efficiently at 22 degrees, however the temperature can be changed on the control.

Do you have laundries on the park?
There are three laundries on the park, located in each of the amenity blocks. If locked, please call reception on 02 6772 6470 to receive the code for entry. Each load is $4. Laundry Powder is available for purchase at reception.

Who should I call in an emergency?

In an emergency, dial 000 and request Fire, Police or Ambulance. If your emergency is regarding your accommodation, you can reach the office on 02 6772 6470.

Are there any medical centres who take new clients?

There’s not many, we recommend you give West Armidale Medical Centre, 277 Rusden St Armidale a call on 02 6772 2933,

Alternatively you can visit emergency at 226 Rusden St.

What’s your recommendation for eating out in Armidale?

If in doubt, you’ll most likely find something happening at Welder’s Dog who will be more than happy to pour you a craft beer and tell you about their latest whiskey or gin find. If you feel like a dance, check out The New England Hotel.

If you want to impress when you’re out for dinner, head to the Powerhouse Tapas Bar & Azka Restaurant. Our favourite family pubs in town are The Armidale City Bowling Club and The Whitebull.

What wineries should I go see?

The New England region is perfect for a day of driving through the countryside and checking out our many wineries and Breweries.

A great snapshot of our region is Scenic Drive 19, which takes you past Peterson’s winery, Dangars Falls, Gostwyck Chapel and into Uralla where you can check out the New England Brewery Company and Why Worry Wines. If you’ve got the time, head out to Dobson’s Distillery at Eastview Estate. With internationally acclaimed Whiskeys, Gins, and Wines, and an amazing chef, you won’t be disappointed, www.eastviewestate.com.
